Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in a timely manner to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and security of freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Must be able to operate both standard and automatic transmissions.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
