Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles over various road conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Keep the truck clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License in hand or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
- Clean Driving Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Basic English language skills for effective communication.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
