Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on a regional route.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including HOS (Hours of Service) compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A License (or be willing to obtain one with our paid training program).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
