Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) over long and short distances.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all materials are secured properly for transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and necessary documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and background check.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored CDL training programs.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication.
