Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) on designated routes in and around the Atlanta metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance requirements.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs.
- Uphold a professional image and represent the company positively at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. (Recent graduates or those with a permit may apply for our paid training program).
- Clean driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, based on business needs.
