Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe and efficient manner on interstate and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and all necessary paperwork (BOL, POD, etc.).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and status updates.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) or be willing to obtain one through our training program.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and compliance.
- Valid driver's license (Class B or CDL if not Class A).
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel long distances.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for documentation purposes.
