Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads per DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or potential hazards.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Must be willing to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
