Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (tractor-trailers) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate traffic patterns and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional vehicle appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious violations within the last 5 years.
- Ability to work night shift hours (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
