Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on designated routes throughout the Las Vegas metro area and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying weight and quantity against delivery tickets and manifests.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and maintain logs in strict compliance with federal regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and interact professionally with other drivers on the road.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, traffic laws, and time management protocols.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with necessary endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, etc.) preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Basic English language skills for clear communication, navigation, and reading road signs.
- Willingness to travel regionally within Nevada and surrounding states.
