Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on regional and local routes within Kentucky and surrounding states.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedule changes and route updates.
- Keep the tractor and trailer clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no DUIs, reckless driving, or serious violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
