Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly and documentation is accurate.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Represent the company professionally at all times and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Indiana.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 9 months of commercial driving experience (Entry level considered with strong attitude).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
