Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any issues.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to travel to Virginia locations as required.
- Basic math and English reading comprehension skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing into the cab.
- 1+ years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
