Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues.
- Secure cargo properly and verify all delivery documents and bills of lading.
- Log driving hours accurately using an ELD system.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cabin and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and be insurable.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- U.S. Work authorization required.
