Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight safely and on time to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service (HOS) compliance.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers at delivery and pickup sites.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
- Keep the truck clean and organized, including the cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A (or Class B with Tanker/Hazmat) license required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
