Job Overview:
As a CDL Driver for Apex Freight Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently across the United States. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, modern fleet and providing superior customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and legally.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service while communicating with dispatch and clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of interstate driving laws and regulations.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and paperwork.
