Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers on local and regional delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and securing equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT physical exam on file.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Louisville area roads and logistics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends if needed.
