Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial locations in Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a friendly and efficient delivery experience.
- Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, tire pressure, and fluid levels; report maintenance needs immediately.
- Sort and organize packages upon arrival to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately when required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a standard state driver’s license, depending on the vehicle.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for route tracking and communication.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
