Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to transport freight across the Southwest region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including air brake and coupling checks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo at distribution centers and retail locations.
- Adhere strictly to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A issued in the USA.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical on file.
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
