Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques and weight distribution.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logs (DOT) and delivery paperwork.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver freight to customer locations on time while maintaining a professional image.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and safety personnel.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screening Certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Strong navigation skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
