Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers and heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are highly preferred but not mandatory for all roles.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) within the last 12 months.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
