Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and in full.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Complete daily logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) reports accurately.
- Load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Handle paperwork and invoicing duties as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Current DOT Medical Card is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
