Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial Class A vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and digital documentation (ELD) for all trips.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and hazardous materials regulations (if applicable).
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
