Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on highways and local delivery routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and cargo documentation.
- Load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and bars to ensure safety during transit.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to receivers and shippers during loading and unloading.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Current Medical Card and Hazmat endorsement (if applicable to role).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
