Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes within Florida.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Deliver freight to customers in a professional and timely manner, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) according to DOT regulations.
- Handle customer interactions professionally, resolving any delivery issues on-site.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to pass a road test if no prior driving experience is shown.
