Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional routes within El Paso and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Inspect vehicles before, during, and after trips to ensure they are roadworthy and compliant with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELD technology and manage delivery paperwork accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes and delivery status.
- Uphold company standards for safety, cleanliness, and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no DUI or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with ELDs and electronic logging systems is a plus.
