Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and securely, ensuring cargo safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (EOBR) and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and paperwork.
