Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial Class A delivery truck to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently using basic hand tools.
- Maintain accurate logs (E-Logs) and adhere to all federal and state driving laws.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to resolve issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for making change and reading invoices.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
