Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Current DOT medical card is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and safety regulations.
- Basic English communication skills.
