Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on assigned routes throughout the United States.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours-of-service logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License: Must possess a valid, current CDL Class A driver's license.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Eligibility: Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Documentation: Must hold a valid DOT Medical Card and be willing to pass a DOT drug screen.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; paid training is available for qualified applicants.
