Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A license (or be willing to obtain one through our training program).
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overnight travel.
