Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and securing requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUI/DWI within the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and cargo securement procedures.
