Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to deliver freight to designated locations safely and on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Device - ELD) and paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of cargo, yourself, and the public.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Pass DOT physical examination to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement.
