Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (Commercial Driver's License) required.
- Must possess a DOT Medical Card and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and the appropriate endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triple).
