Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to transport goods to designated destinations in and around Denver, CO.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, ensuring full compliance with DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
