Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers to transport goods across state lines and locally.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered safely and on time.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Unload cargo safely using proper equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic English proficiency for communication.
