Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on regional and local routes within San Diego and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Secure cargo according to safety regulations and load limits.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUI or reckless driving convictions.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Ability to pass a background check and DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
