Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and legally in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cargo and equipment are secure.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and daily inspection reports (DAIR) as required by law.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route plans to meet customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and basic logistics software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
