Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight safely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and status updates.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (tires, lights, oil) during stops.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
