Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation.
- Complete daily logs (DOT) and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold the company's high safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and cargo securement procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
