Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper tie-down equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure cargo is secured and protected during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) from the state of Nebraska.
- Current, valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience (experience in flatbed or reefer preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
