Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time, adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliant) and manage electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Handle cargo loading and unloading with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
