Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and tie-downs.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the state.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety standards, and Hours of Service (HOS).
- Willingness to travel regionally and inter-state as required.
