Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, efficient, and legal manner at all times.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal condition.
- Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols and weight regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- CDL Requirement: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of traffic laws, map reading, and cargo securement.
