Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Transport goods efficiently and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Load Handling: Securely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records (ELD compliance).
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to clients, handling any delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License: Must hold a valid and current Commercial Driver's License (Class A).
- Driving Record: Clean MVR with no serious violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Experience: Proven experience in long-haul or regional driving.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read maps and GPS systems.
