Job Overview
We are looking for dedicated individuals to operate our delivery vehicles to ensure timely and accurate freight delivery. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles (Dry Van, Reefer, or Flatbed) to deliver freight on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/Elog) and adhere to all federal and state traffic laws.
- Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and the public at delivery locations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Handle paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts, accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical) must be up to date.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of cargo handling and safety regulations.
