Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently on regional routes between Louisiana and Florida.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are handled with care and delivered in perfect condition.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily inspection reports (DVIR).
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including handling questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is road-ready.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required (or willingness to obtain with our training program).
- Must be at least 21 years old for interstate commerce.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 minor moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
