Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured properly and adhering to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and mechanical integrity of the truck.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages and handling inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required (Clean driving record).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills for change and cash handling.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
