Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and delivery recipients.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen clear.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry cargo weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including potential weekend or overnight shifts.
