Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations throughout the New York metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and delivery receipts in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every stop, including loading and unloading coordination.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of New York traffic laws and delivery routes.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
