Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport and deliver freight in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using dollies, hand trucks, and lift gates efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery status and handle all necessary paperwork (Bill of Lading).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery stops.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic English proficiency for communication and safety instructions.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
